Strike: FG issues fresh directive to civil servants.

Ahead of planned strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), the federal government has asked civil servants from grade level 12 to report to their places on Monday.

Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, who handed down the order reminded workers of impending Court order which restrained them from joining the proposed strike.

In a statement on Friday, Yemi-Esan said the federal government is in talks with the labour unions towards ensuring that all agitations by the workers are resolved.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), and its affiliate unions had enjoined workers to embark on an indefinite strike, pending when the federal government reverses the price of petrol and electricity tariff
