Man sells his set of twins for N150,000

 The police in Anambra state have arrested a 31-year-old man, Chijioke Chukwulota, pictured above, for selling his set of twins born to him by his ex-girlfriend.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Haruna Mohammed, Chijioke allegedly lured his ex-girlfriend to his home on August 8 and stole the children (twins baby girls) aged about two months and sold them to one Tina Ibeato, 31, of Imo State at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand(#150,000)Naira only.

 

Haruna said the suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.

He said investigation is ongoing into the matter and that the suspects would be brought to book soon

NECO to Reschedule Examination due to #EndSARS Protest

  The ongoing #EndSARS protests across the country has forced the National Examinations Council (NECO) to reschedule one of its Senior SChool Certificate Examinations papers currently ongoing across the country. NECO in a statement in Minna on Sunday evening signed by its Head Information Unit, Mallam Azeez Sani, said the Computer Studies Practicals paper 1 earlier scheduled to take place on Monday 19 October 2020, 10am to 1pm has been rescheduled for Monday 16 November 2020, 10am-1pm. Mallam Sani disclosed that the decision to reschedule the Examinations followed blockage of free movement of vehicles at the City gate in Benin, the Edo state capital, hence the inability of the council vehicles to deliver the papers for the Monday Examinations.
