Luis Suarez threatened to publish list of teams Barcelona stopped him from joining.

 

Luis Suarez is reportedly planning to release the list of clubs Barcelona told him not to join before completing his Atletico Madrid move.

 

The forward sealed a two-year deal with Los Rojiblancos on a free transfer from the Catalan club this transfer window.

 

He became the fourth player to leave the Nou Camp after the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo since the arrival of Dutch manager Ronald Koeman.

 

The Uruguay international was forced out of the club after Barca terminated his contract 12 months before it was due.

 

The Mirror claims he will finalise his deal with Atletico later this week in a deal worth €6 million (£5.5m).

 

The publication citing Mundo Deportivo claim the Blaugrana sent a list of teams Suarez was prohibited from joining through email.

Italian League giants Juventus made attempts to sign the former Liverpool star but the deal collapsed over passport dealy.

And this gave Los Colchoneros the opportunity to make a move for the four-time la Liga winner but Barca initially blocked the move.

 

And Suarez tried publishing the list Barcelona sent to him to show them Atletico were not part of the blacklisted teams.

 

They insisted they will not help strengthen a direct rival for free, but talks quickly came to a conclusion after Suarez issued the threat on Tuesday night.

 

The Mirror claims Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are on the list.

 

The former Ajax attacker ended his reign with the club as the third-highest goal scorer of all time with 198 goals in six years having joined them from Liverpool in 2014.
